Tickets and audio guide instructions are sent by email one day before the activity at 18:00 (local time).
For same-day bookings, tickets and audio guides are sent immediately after purchase.
Audio guides are accessed on your personal smartphone. Please download them before your visit.
Hagia Sophia admission includes access to the Upper Gallery level only. The ground floor remains reserved for worship.
Security screening is mandatory for all visitors and cannot be skipped.
Waiting times may be longer during public holidays and religious celebrations.
Ongoing restoration work may be visible inside and outside Hagia Sophia.

Dress Code
Visitors to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque must follow the dress code:
Women are required to cover their hair.
Men and women must wear clothing that covers the knees and shoulders.

The Basilica Cistern may undergo renovation works after 24 April. If access is restricted, visits may be arranged at either the Theodosius Cistern or the 1001 Columns Cistern as an alternative.
